Professional Credentials:  

 Jeff Pettersson is the founder and primary  elder advocate for ElderAdvocate.Life.  Jeff has been in the Health Care field for over 25 years holding roles as a Long Term Care Administrator,  Assisted Living, Alzheimer's and Retirement Center Executive Director,  Hospital Administrator, Rehabilitation Program Manager and as a Healthcare Quality and Risk Management Consultant.   He has also been involved in new project development focused on a unique approach to meeting the needs of those Alzheimer's Disease and their families.

Jeff's consulting services have been used across the nation on behalf of Liability Carriers/Underwriters.   He is an expert at completing analysis of operations of health care facilities focused on evaluation of the entities quality outcome data, risk management processes and organizational culture.  

He holds a Master's Degree in Business with a Health Care concentration and maintains a license in Texas for Nursing Home and Assisted Living Administration and is a current certified preceptor for the State of Texas for those seeking to become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.  He also is a Certified Ombudsman in Texas for provision of advocacy services for seniors residing in Nursing, Assisted Living and Alzheimer's Centers.   

Personal Passions:  

Jeff has a personal passion and compassion for elders and their families and seeks to serve as a conduit of peace helping prevent crisis situations for elders and walking along side elders and their families in the midst of difficult situations and circumstances.  He and his wife, Karen are both in the Health Care field. Karen has served as a Hospice nurse for the past 10 years in Fort Worth and the surrounding community. They have three grown children and four grandchildren.  They are active in church and volunteer organizations.  Journeying with elders and their families has not just been a professional experience, but also a personal one. We have experienced first hand both the struggles and unique blessing that comes in the journey of  endeavoring to honor ones parents.
